Theatre director finds new home in High Wycombe
Sarah Spencer, a theatre director and teacher, has recently moved into a property in Walter’s Ash, High Wycombe with her long term partner. The homes, refurbished by Annington, are close to the town centre and have proven to be very popular in the area.
Sarah comments: “Few properties ever come up for sale in this price range in this area, so when I saw the property I knew I had to snap it up. The homes have provided an excellent chance to build a new community.”
Sarah works in London and this was a big factor in choosing her home: “I wanted to be within a short commute of the direct train into London, my teaching job and local amenities. Before this home I was living in a three bedroom rental property in Crowthorne, Reading for the past 10 years and most recently temporarily in Naphill whilst waiting to move into my new property. Now my commute is so much easier and I’m so pleased I’ve moved here.”
Sarah continues: “I chose the area because it seemed up and coming, the homes were finished to a high standard and they were convenient to the local town. I have been very happy with the service provided to me by Annington as they were very fast, efficient and helpful. I can definitely see myself living at the property for at least five years and if I decide to move on I will keep the house as an investment home because it is in such an ideal location.”
Walter’s Ash is located less than five miles from the market town of High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. Surrounded by countryside, the area is an idyllic rural retreat, with many local walks and quaint country pubs.

High Wycombe station offers direct services to London (35 minutes), Birmingham (1 hour 33 minutes) as well as onward services to Oxford and Reading. Junction 4 of the M40 for London is approximately 6.5 miles away, and the M4 can be reached via the A404 for Junction 8.
High Wycombe offers a range of excellent shopping options, with a number of independent boutiques.
