Helen has been Chair of Annington Limited since 2017. She is a British politician and member of the House of Lords who served as Secretary of State for Scotland from 2001 to 2003 and British High Commissioner to Australia from 2005 to 2009. A member of the Labour Party, she was Member of Parliament (MP) for Airdrie and Shotts, previously Monklands East, from 1994 to 2005.
Jos Short has been Deputy-Chair of Annington Limited since 2017. He is the co-founder of Internos Global Investors (now Principal Real Estate Europe) and from 2000 to 2007 was CEO of Pramerica’s real estate private equity business and before that held a number of senior roles in investment banking at Lazard Bros, Barings and SG Warburg.
Nick has more than 30 years experience in the real estate sector, most recently as Chief Operating Officer at Annington until his retirement in 2021. Before this he held the role of Commercial Director since 2001, having joined Annington as a Financial Analyst in 1998. Prior to Annington he held a number of senior positions at British Land and with a number of Rosehaugh plc group companies.
Vivek joined the Board of Annington Limited in 2018. He is a senior business leader with three decades’ experience in global finance and over 20 years in senior CFO roles. Vivek joined Terra Firma in January 2018 as Group Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer and became CEO in July 2020. Before that he spent 17 years at Standard Chartered Bank.
Ian has more than 20 years experience in the real estate sector. Before arriving at Annington in 2021 he was CEO of Balfour Beatty Investments from 2012 where, amongst other projects, he was responsible for multi-family housing business in the US, including the management of around 35,000 homes for the US Department of Defense. Ian has spent 23 years of his career in infrastructure, real estate and house building.
Stephen has more than 20 years experience in real estate, coming to Annington in 2020 from iQ Student Accommodation where he was CFO from 2015. Before that, Stephen was Finance Director at Otium Real Estate Limited and held positions at a number of leading real estate businesses including Land Securities and Trillium
