First time buyers Faye Haylock and Aaron Robinson have recently purchased a two bedroom house in Haling Place; Annington’s collection of refurbished homes in Waterbeach.
The couple, who are due to marry later this year, had been living with Faye’s parents in nearby Impington before they found their new home. Aaron, a plumbing and heating engineer, comments: “We really like Waterbeach; it is such a lovely village with a friendly feel to it. The village has everything we need and we are extremely happy with our new home. The easy commute to work has meant that we have more time for ourselves and we can both picture ourselves living here for a long time.”
Faye and Aaron’s house has given them the space they need and they are currently enjoying their new property. Faye, a Personal Assistant, says: “We had been living with my parents and we wanted to move somewhere spacious and affordable in a convenient location for work. We’re now looking forward to settling down for the foreseeable future.”
Angela Walsh, Head of Sales and Marketing at Annington, comments: “For their size, the houses at Haling Place really do offer fantastic value for money. They are spacious throughout, with family sized living areas and good storage space.”
Aaron added: “We have been very happy with the service we received from Annington. The friendly and helpful sales staff reassured us throughout the buying process and made us feel valued. We would encourage anyone looking for a property around the Waterbeach area to consider Haling Place.”
Haling Place is ideally located, with nearby Waterbeach High Street offering a selection of shops, cafes and pubs, as well as a library. There are two local schools in the area; Waterbeach Community Primary School and Cottenham Village College, making it a popular choice for families of all ages. The Haling Way, which offers a pleasant cycling path into Cambridge, is easily accessed from the development.
Waterbeach’s extensive transport connections also make it an ideal location for commuters. There is easy access to the nearby A10, and the railway station provides a direct service to Cambridge, with journey times approximately seven minutes, and to London King’s Cross in just over an hour.
