Rachel Armstrong, a civil servant with the Ministry of Defence, has bought a new home with her husband Chris in Walters Ash.
The couple were already living in the village, which is four miles from High Wycombe, before they saw some signs about the new properties and decided to find out more. Rachel explains:
“We were living a few streets away, and we saw the signs go up. We were really interested as the properties were affordable and in a desirable area that we already know well.”
The area offers excellent transport connections, with the M40, serving the M4 and M25, nearby, which means they have a straightforward commute to work in West London. Rachel says:
“It’s a rural area that’s near a major town, so the onward connections are really good. We both work for the MOD, and our commute to Uxbridge in West London is easy and straightforward.”
All of the properties in Walters Ash include allocated parking and the generous size and space of the homes allows for plenty of scope and opportunity to further enhance them, which appealed to Rachel.
“We really like that we have the opportunity to apply our own touch to our home. The development is secure and private, whilst Walters Ash has a quiet “English town” feel to it. As former MoD homes we expected them to have been well looked after, and we can see ourselves living here for many years now.”
Annington currently has a further collection of homes for sale, with prices starting from £315,000 for a two bedroom semi-detached home and £400,000 for a three bedroom detached home. For more information and to arrange a viewing, call JNP High Wycombe on 01494 528 000.« Back to testimonials page
