NEW PHASE OF HOMES LAUNCHED IN THE REGENERATION HOTSPOT OF BORDON

Annington, the company responsible for refurbishing ex-MOD homes, has launched a selection of homes at The Pines, in Bordon, Hampshire, with a new phase of eight two- and three-bedroom maisonettes with parking coming on to the market on Friday 9 December with prices starting from just £190,000.

Viewings will be available from Saturday 10th December and it’s expected that interest will be high for these fully refurbished former MOD properties that feature new insulating external thermal rendering, high-performance boilers, new kitchens and bathrooms, new double glazed windows and new front doors. Fully decorated throughout, including brand new floorcoverings, the maisonettes are ready to move into now.

In the heart of Whitehill & Bordon’s £54 million transformation into a Healthy New Town, The Pines is directly opposite the brand new town centre that forms part of the regeneration.

Residents will benefit from parks, improvements to education with a new primary school, as well as a £5.7m investment to create leisure facilities, including a swimming pool, sports centre, cinema, and shopping centre. Overall, Whitehill & Bordon will have 3,350 new homes, nearly 100,000sqm of new commercial, retail, and leisure floor space, thousands of new jobs and 150 acres of community green space.

Roy Bennett, New Homes Sales Manager at Fox and Sons, comments: “We are expecting these homes to be very popular with first time buyers and investors thanks to the excellent location just opposite the new town centre, the convenient commute and the high standard of refurbishment. The maisonettes all have a good-sized lounge, the two-bedrooms feature a Juliet balcony, while the ground floor three-bedrooms properties benefit from a private garden. A selection of properties have garages and all have allocated parking.”

The new town is being created on 100 hectares of land that became vacant when the military garrison relocated to Wiltshire. Thanks to Annington’s complete refurbishment works, buyers can enjoy a fresh, clean home that is ready to move into immediately, with none of the hassle of waiting for a new build - offering a fast, convenient and value-for-money way to become part of the exciting new community at Whitehill & Bordon.

Louise Saunders, Sales and Marketing Manager for Annington, adds: “We are expecting these tastefully refurbished and thermally upgraded maisonettes to be very popular with those who are conscious about their winter bills and their green footprint. And it’s not only the homes that are warm - Bordon itself is becoming a real hotspot as it has so much to offer, whether that’s modern new facilities like The Shed with its popular artisan treats, or wildlife-rich green open spaces to explore such as Hogmoor Enclosure nature reserve.

“The Pines is located in an already established setting. These comfortable and well-appointed maisonettes offer a welcome alternative to new builds at a more attainable price point and they are ready to move into now – so make sure to book a space at the opening event on Saturday 10 December.”

The Pines is ideally situated close to the A3 and the A31, offering an easy road commute to Portsmouth, Southampton and beyond. For those using public transport, the mainline station at Liphook, six miles away, offers regular services to Waterloo in just over an hour.

Pricing for the homes at The Pines begin at £190,000. To find out more and book a viewing, contact the dedicated selling agent Fox & Sons by calling 023 9226 2447 or email sales@thepinesbordon.com.
