On Sunday 12th of December, residents at Annington’s Mayflower Park development in Henlow got into the Christmas spirit, thanks to a festive doorstep performance by Chicksands & Henlow Military Wives Choir. The evening allowed residents to sing along to popular Christmas songs, while encouraging new homeowners get to know their neighbours.
Louise Saunders, Sales and Marketing Manager at Annington, commented: “Christmas is traditionally a time of love, joy and giving, and we hope the carols performance has helped to bring festive cheer to the residents here at Henlow. The atmosphere on Sunday was magical, and it was wonderful seeing the happiness on everyone’s faces as the whole community celebrated together.”
Sandie Shaw, Choir Lead of Chicksands & Henlow Military Wives Choir, added: “It was a lovely evening and well attended – about 50 residents came to their doorsteps to enjoy our performance. We believe there’s no better way to spread some Christmas cheer than with a traditional sing-song. It was a heart-warming sight to see residents take the time out of their everyday lives to enjoy some festive fun, together with their neighbours.”
