ANNINGTON WELCOMES VISITORS TO NEW NATURE INSPIRED SHOW HOME IN BIGGIN HILL

Spring has sprung in Aperfield Gate, Biggin Hill, as Annington, the company responsible for refurbishing former Ministry of Defence (MoD) properties, is set to launch its brand-new show home on Friday 22nd March, with links to the area's farmyard friends.

Annington, with the help of Open Door Interiors, has sponsored Woody the cow, one of the long-term residents at the Foal Farm Animal Rescue and developed an interiors theme with a nod to nature and other animal-lovers in the area.

The refurbished home is a spacious four-bedroom detached property, located just north of the main town centre of Biggin Hill. The show home features a range of muted, earthy colours, with ties to spring and nature throughout. As the home has been refurbished, the stylists were initially led by the existing elements of the property, such as the kitchen style and the warm grey carpet.

With existing homes at the development proving popular with people looking for more space to accommodate their growing families, the show home has been designed to illustrate the stylish family lifestyle on offer at Aperfield Gate.

The soft blue hues of the colour palette harmonise with the wood tones of the kitchen, whilst the cinnamon accent colour gives a contrast throughout the rest of the home, cultivating a calming atmosphere. Stand-out features include the floral-inspired wallpaper running throughout the house, the stylish main bedroom and bedroom three’s acknowledgment of the donation to Foal Farm Animal Rescue.

Casey Moss, Interior Designer at Open Door Interiors said: “Taking inspiration from the many green open spaces at Aperfield Gate, and to link to its spring launch date, we have chosen wallpapers with vibrant floral patterns, which resonate with the start of this season.

“As Annington is a strong supporter of local businesses, we have sourced locally made crafts and produce to style the property, from the nearby gift shop at The Sheep Shed in Botley Hill Farmhouse. The entrance hall of the show home features artwork by Amie Antoniak, a professional artist who resides in Reigate, Surrey. Our favourite aspect however is the animal-lover themed bedroom, which acknowledges our sponsorship of Woody the cow from Foal Farm Animal Rescue.”

Just over 2.5 miles from the farm, the show home at Aperfield Gate also has superb links to various shops and recreational activities in the town centre, along with a convenience store located just a short walk from the home itself.

Stacy Whitehead, Marketing Manager at Annington, comments: “Launching a show home is such an exciting time in the lifespan of any development. Getting to see prospective homebuyers envision themselves living in the home is very rewarding, and show homes are the perfect opportunity for potential buyers to immerse themselves fully in the idea that this home could be theirs.

“This show home has been especially exciting to work on, as the interiors team have outdone themselves with their nods to the local community throughout. By working with Foal Farm Animal Rescue and incorporating crafts and artwork from nearby suppliers in this show home, we have striven to fit our work from the ground up into the broader focus of our ethos to support local communities.”

This show home is one of Annington’s collection of refurbished homes in Biggin Hill, all of which contain electric vehicle charging points. Situated on a sought-after and private gated estate offering enhanced privacy and plenty of open green space, the homes boast generous floorplans with spacious living areas and large bedrooms.

Prices at Aperfield Gate, Biggin Hill start at £595,000, with the show home now open by appointment. For more information about the property, please contact Annington’s selling agent at www.ibbettmosely.co.uk or call 01959 563265.
