Annington has supported budding artists at Linton-on-Ouse Primary School in North Yorkshire with the donation of art resources, including canvases, oil paints and brushes to support the school’s annual art exhibition.
The exhibition features artwork created by pupils who painted scenes inspired by their community. This year’s work highlights local views from around the village, including landmarks, people and the buildings in and around Linton-on-Ouse.
The art was proudly displayed at the school’s annual exhibition on Friday 30th January, allowing the pupils to see their creations on show.
This donation forms part of Annington’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local communities around its homes, having previously worked with Linton-on-Ouse Primary School over the past three years. Just 10 minutes away, Annington has a selection of homes available at The Linton Collection which have proven popular with local renters, with the first release now fully let.
Davinia Pearson, Headteacher at Linton-on-Ouse Primary School, added: “The children have really enjoyed the opportunity to be creative and inspired by their own community. We want to thank Annington for their continued support over the years, having these additional art resources has allowed them to try new materials and create special final pieces. The pieces created for the exhibition show just how proud the children are of Linton-on-Ouse.”
Stacy Whitehead, Marketing Manager at Annington, said: “While we provide much needed rental homes in this thriving village, we also want to make lasting contributions to the community we’re working in. We’re proud to support our neighbouring school and invest in young people’s creativity, especially when it displays their passion for the local community.”
Homes at The Linton Collection are available to view via appointment only. Prices start from £1,300 per calendar month for a three-bedroom semi-detached home.
