Regional Trainer Matthew Major and his partner Emma Hollings are now proud home owners in Walters Ash, having purchased a refurbished property at Annington’s development of former MOD homes.
Making the short move from High Wycombe, the couple found out about the homes via local estate agent JNP. Emma, a care assistant, explains: “The home is in a much better location than others that we looked at. We liked that the area is well connected, but still in a rural area.”
The refurbished homes offer spacious living areas and allocated parking, with further opportunities to enhance them. The development is located in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by attractive countryside with many beautiful walks, quaint country pubs and local attractions nearby - another factor that appealed to Matthew, a keen photographer. He adds: “Walking and photography are a couple of my favourite hobbies, so the area is great. We especially like the size of the home and the potential it has.”
House hunters still have the opportunity to buy a home at the popular development, as Annington has recently released a new range of two bedroom properties priced from £300,000 and a limited number of three bedroom homes from £320,000 are also available. Buyers can also take advantage of a £750 discount on survey and legal fees, subject to terms and conditions.
