The North West London town of Stanmore is located in the London Borough of Harrow, approximately 11 miles north-west of central London.

The suburb of Stanmore bustles with a variety of small restaurants and cafés, local pubs, and a handful of boutique-style clothing stores. Many of Stanmore's residential areas are affluent and leafy, with a large number of residents commuting into central London and the City for work. Stanmore also has affluent Indian, Jewish and Catholic communities, including its local Synagogue, Stanmore and Canons Park Synagogue on London Road.


Transport

Stanmore is connected to the London underground and is in zone 5 of the Jubilee line. By road it is within very easy reach of the M1 as well as the M25.
 

Education

Stanmore is home to Stanmore College. It also has a great range of schools within the local area, including Aylward First and Middle School, North London Collegiate School, Park High School, St John's CE School, Stanburn First and Middle Schools, Weald First and Middle Schools, Whitchurch First School, Nursery and Middle Schools.
